'All That' cast: Where are they now? (2024)

Kenan Thompson (1994–99, 2019–20)

As one of the seven original cast members, Kenan Thompson helped create All That's distinctive voice with memorable sketches from "Pierre Escargot" to "Mavis and Clavis." Many bits paired him with Kel Mitchell, leading to the duo's spin-off show, .

Thompson leads one of the more successful comedy careers of the All That cast. After Kenan & Kel, he starred in films like Good Burger (1997) and Fat Albert (2004). Since 2003, he's been a cast member on All That's adult equivalent, Saturday Night Live, making him the show's most senior cast member. He has received multiple Emmy nominations as a sketch performer, and a win for co-writing the song "Come Back Barack."

However, he went back to his childhood roots by executive producing and appearing on the 2019 All That revival series. Thompson also starred on the eponymous show Kenan from 2021 to 2022, landing another Emmy nomination.

Kel Mitchell (1994–99, 2019–20)

The red to Thompson's blue, Mitchell brought a frantic energy to their sketches. Even during over-the-top bits like "Repairman-man-man-man," Mitchell always managed to turn things up even further.

Much ado has been made about Mitchell's relative career invisibility compared to Thompson; there was even a widely-circulated death hoax in 2006.

Fortunately, Mitchell is alive and well. He starred on All That creator Dan Schneider's sitcom Game Shakers from 2015 to 2019 and served as executive producer, alongside Thompson, for the 2019 All That reboot. He also reunited with Thompson again in 2022 in an episode of Saturday Night Live for a Kenan & Kel reboot sketch — titled Kenan & Kelly — with the show's host, Keke Palmer.

Lori Beth Denberg (1994–98, 2019–20)

Lori Beth Denberg's sketches often favored wit over frenzy or ridiculous costumes. Her fan-favorite "Vital Information" sketch was the closest thing All That had to Weekend Update, and the "Loud Librarian" embodied the show's mocking attitude toward hypocritical adults.

Denberg's biggest post-All That role was overachieving student Lydia on The Steve Harvey Show. She also provided cameo appearances in Good Burger, Dodgeball (2004), Ham on Rye (2019), and episodes of the All That reboot. In 2022, she competed as a contestant on Worst Cooks in America.

Josh Server (1994–2000, 2019–20)

Josh Server wasn't just an original cast member of All That, he was the only one to remain through all seven seasons of the show's first run. Server's "Detective Dan" character was hilariously incompetent, but he'll probably always be known best for playing "Ear Boy." "The Ear Boy character will live with me for the rest of my life, it doesn't matter where I go or what I do," Server told Complex. "When I win my Oscar, God willing, they're going to show a clip of Ear Boy."

Other than reprising "Detective Dan" on the All That reboot in 2019, Server continued to guest on Nickelodeon shows like The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and Game Shakers. He's also appeared on projects like Good Girls Revolt, Await the Dawn, and Uploaded.

Angelique Bates (1994–96)

Angelique Bates successfully auditioned for All That with a Steve Urkel impression and put that character to use in her actual sketches on the show. After only two years, she was the first cast member to leave.

Bates has kept up with All That costars Katrina Johnson and Alisa Reyes. The three have reunited for comedy sketches on Bates' YouTube channel under the acronym AKA. She's also ventured into music under the name Alizay.

Katrina Johnson (1994–97)

All That may have been comedy by kids for kids, but it wasn't afraid to mock things in the greater culture. Katrina Johnson's hilarious impression of presidential candidate Ross Perot was emblematic of that.

Johnson hosts multiple online radio shows on Uncensored Radio. Her next credit is for the TV film Shane on You, alongside Bates.

Alisa Reyes (1994–97, 2019–20)

Alisa Reyes was one of the most upbeat members of the original All That cast, bringing a peppy energy to skits like "Kiki the Island Girl."

After her stint on Nickelodeon, Reyes moved on to the Disney Channel, where she voiced animated mean girl LaCienega Boulevardez on The Proud Family and its 2022 revival Louder and Prouder.

She also worked as a radio DJ and host for Playboy's Sirius station, as well as other voice acting gigs on the children's series Da Jammies and English-dubbed film Break Even (2020).

Amanda Bynes (1996–2000)

Amanda Bynes was the first addition to the cast outside of the original seven and, at just 10 years old, one of the youngest. However, Bynes quickly made her mark with distinctive skits like "Ask Ashley." Her star power allowed her to graduate to her own sketch show, The Amanda Show.

After The Amanda Show, Bynes moved on to the mid-2000s WB sitcom What I Like About You. She also starred in movies like 2003's What a Girl Wants, 2006's She's the Man, 2007's Hairspray, and 2010's Easy A. Bynes has been on a hiatus from acting ever since, amid some unfortunate personal setbacks. In 2022, Bynes was released from her nine-year financial conservatorship.

Nick Cannon (1998–2004)

Although he eventually became one of Nickelodeon's biggest personalities, Nick Cannon didn't even audition for All That. He started as an emcee, who would hold the live audience over while cast members changed costumes, and sometimes helped write material with his friends Server and Thompson. As a result, when Cannon finally got his shot on the show, he was totally willing to go as over the top as needed. See, for example, his ridiculous "The Inconvenience Store" sketch with Thompson.

Like Bynes, Cannon got his own show after All That—The Nick Cannon Show—on which he would "take over" everyday situations and make them better. Cannon has since turned his talents to everything from movies (2002's Drumline and 2021's The Misfits) to music (2014's White People Party Music and 2022's The Explicit Tape: Raw & B) to hosting (America's Got Talent and The Masked Singer).

Cannon has also made headlines for fathering children with numerous partners, welcoming an 11th child in 2022.

Gabriel Iglesias (2000)

At 20 years old, the famously "fluffy" comedian was the oldest cast member of All That. He joined just in time for the last year of the show's original run, but still managed to showcase his talent for impressions and self-deprecating comedy.

Gabriel Iglesias is a successful stand-up comic with multiple specials and his own showcases (Gabriel Iglesias Presents: Stand-Up Revolution and Fluffy's Food Adventures). He also provided comic relief in Magic Mike (2012) and Magic Mike XXL (2015), had a leading role on the short-lived Netflix sitcom Mr. Iglesias, and performed voice roles in UglyDolls (2019) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021).

Danny Tamberelli (1997–2000)

Fresh off that other seminal '90s Nickelodeon series, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Danny Tamberelli joined All That in the later seasons. He took over "Vital Information" after Denberg's departure and introduced the world to "Fat Cop."

Tamberelli continued to put his sketch comedy talents to good use with his ManBoobs collective. He also plays bass in the band Jounce and cohosted a weekly podcast, The Adventures of Danny and Mike, with his former Pete & Pete costar Michael C. Maronna.

Jamie Lynn Spears (2002–04, 2020)

Britney Spears appeared as a musical performer in an early season of All That. When the show came back after a two-year hiatus, her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, joined the cast.

Jamie Lynn went straight from All That to her own star vehicle spin-off, Zoey 101, which had a 2020 cast reunion on the All That reboot. Her career went on hiatus after an unexpected pregnancy at 16, but she re-emerged as a country music songwriter with her 2014 album The Journey and returned to acting with Netflix's Steel Magnolias from 2020 to 2022.

After Britney's 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021 — revealing the twisted power dynamics within her family — Jamie Lynn released a 2022 controversial tell-all memoir titled All the Things I Should Have Said, which she heavily discusses in an episode of Call Her Daddy.
